A vision born in 1996

Magvlyn Industries began with a simple but ambitious mission: to make safe, hygienic and affordable drinking water accessible to all. Inspired by sachet water he encountered in Nigeria in 1992, our founder, Mr Magnus Nunoo, registered Magvlyn Enterprise in January 1996.

At a time when drinking water was often served from shared cups and buckets, Mobile Water offered something new: safe water you could carry wherever you went. Production started the following month at the family home in Accra, with water filtered and packed in sealed pouches.

That July, Mr Nunoo left his job as a marketer at Mobil Oil to build the business full-time with his wife, Mrs Evelyn Nunoo.
